I knew this was going to be a tough conflict...if you didnt...then your head is probably up your ass, like most conservatives who thought bombing them would be the end of Hezbollah...and now its week 4 of fighting (Israel is used to beating countries in days...obviously, its a tough fight).
But in order to defeat the enemy, one must understand the enemy. Here are some facts about Hezbollah-
-Hezbollah is not a simple terrorist organization, but a political party, a social organization, and an armed movement (it also has its own media broadcasting center).
-Hezbollah recieves 100 million dollars a year from Iran (Syria also funds them)
-Hezbollah has 14 seats in the Lebanese parliament
-Hezbollah provides Social Services to the Shia' of southern Lebanon (such as free education, free hospitals, volunteer social workers, etc.)
-Hezbollah is the most professional, non-state armed group in the Middle-East. Islamic Resistance guerrillas are considered to be the most dedicated and highly trained of their kind.
-Hezbollah is a Shiite dominated force, and views Sunnis as infidels. Osama Bin Laden on the other hand leads Al-Qaeda (a Sunni terrorist organization), and views Shiites as infidels (wow!...even Islamo-Fascists hate each other!)
-Hezbollah's main objective is to destroy Israel.
This fight is going to take a long time...and the worst is yet to come...
But let me get this off my chest. Im Sick and fuckin tired of these Conservative Scum trying to label Liberals as anti-semitic (first off, if you are anti-semitic, then by definition you arent a liberal, lol). They try to make people seem like anti-semites if they arent 100% pro-Israel (i'd say im about 70% pro-Israel in this fight). This is of course the Right-wing's attempt at "racial equality" (yet they shit on everyone else...hmmm).
But of course, whats funny is that the majority of Jews tend to be Liberals and usually vote Democratic...maybe Conservatives don't view the liberal Jews (who are the MAJORITY) as real jews...lol.
But anyways, im taking a Military test in Lansing in the Afternoon (yes, i have ambitions of going into the military for a couple years). The Sergeant is picking me up, and driving me to the building where i take my test (im kind of nerveous, lol). Its an Army test, but im considering the Air Force or Navy instead (thats what my Mom and Dad would rather have me do). I'll see which one i choose when i graduate.
But anyways, keep fighting the good fight!

Looks as if the shit has hit the fan...
Although im slightly leaning toward's Israel's side in this fight, i could care less what happens. What ever does happen...its just gonna get worse.
What does make me angry is the right-wing's blind support for Israel. It seems like they put more devotion into that country than our own country. They think anyting that Israel does is justified, and if anyone disagrees with Israel's excess of force, they are considered "terrorist enablers". HA!
Do i think this conflict can be won by either side? No, its just going to infuriate the other side to a point where they will unleash holy hell on each other (i bet the religious right is frothing at the mouth right about now...lol).
What we should have done is gone after Iran instead of Iraq. Iran funds Hezbollah (and otehr terrorist organizations) directly, and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad openly shares his intentions on destroying Israel...yet we attack Iraq...hmmmm.

Yes, that dastardly Kim Jong Il is up to it again...shooting those damn missles! Sure, it might have been a spectacle to see it blow up in an amazing firework display...but lets get real.
George Bush just sits on his ass and goes "well...i hope the U.N. will do something about it" (not literally...but you get the idea). Goes to show you how good our leadership is...
North Korea is the most opressive and secretive country on Earth. They have nuclear, biological, and chemical weapons. 1/4 of all their resources go towards their military. They have 1,000,000 man army. THEY MARCH IN PERFECT ORDER! (yikes!)...yet still...no action against them.

Its funny nowadays, you see Right-wing politicians accusing the terrorists of "hating us for our freedom" and "hating us for having a democratic country". Well thats just slightly true...but why do they really hate us? I'll tell you why-
LIBERALISM!!! (dun dun DUN!!!....thats supposed to be scary...lol)
Do you see terrorists walking around in the middle-east demanding gay rights, equal rights and pay for women, worker's rights, anti-nationalism, racial equality, cultural tolerance, progressivism, seperation of Church and State, secularism, ending of social and economic hierarchies, ending extreme economic inequality, or promoting peace movements?
NO!
The Islamic Fundamentalists we are fighting are religious conservatives (i know, a broad term...but very true). They see us as worthless, unholy and sinners...which does not come from our "traditional values". If we are to truly defy terrorism, then we must use our freedoms and rights that the Islamo-fascists would not give to us.
-If being for gay rights is unholy, I DON'T CARE! If the Terrorists ran our country, gays would be killed.
-If demanding equal rights and pay for women goes against "traditional values", I DON'T CARE! If terrorists ran our country, women would be flogged in the streets and covered up by sheets.
-If demanding worker's rights promotes "laziness", I DON'T CARE! If terrorists ran our country, workers would have to accept what the boss says...or be punished.
-If being anti-nationalist is "un-patriotic", I DON'T CARE! If terrorists ran our country, loyalty to the state would be demanded...or you're dead.
-If promoting cultural tolerance is "defying our Judeo-Christian values", I DON'T CARE! If terrorists ran the country, they'd punish you for promoting other ways of life and force their beliefs down your throut.
-If Progressivism is destroying our cultural values and promoting science over religion, I DON'T CARE! If terrorists ran the country, we'd be living in huts and science would be unknown.
-If secualrism and seperation of church and state is "going against God", I DON'T CARE! If terrorists ran the country, Clerics would be the judges and you'd have to do what the Koran teaches.
-If demanding Social and economic equality is "anti-capitalist" and "anti-rich", I DON'T CARE! If terrorists ran the country, we'd have shahs and sultans ruling our country, and mass poverty.
-If being anti-war is "not supporting our troops" (which is total bullshit!), I DON'T CARE. If terrorists ran our country, anti-war protestors would be shot and the military would be worshipped.
So here's my conclusion-
Conservatism is WHAT defends our country, Liberalism is WHY we defend our country.
